A curated safe space to meet you where you are in your current season of life.

Therapy catered to your unique needs. Services to help you reach your fullest potential and to improve your quality of life.

Welcome, I am glad you’re here.

Greetings. I am Michelle, an Asian-American Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the San Francisco Bay Area. I am a psychotherapist and provide individual therapy services to individuals seeking a better understanding of themselves. My practice is dynamic, as I serve as a workplace wellness consultant and on-site therapist in technological corporate settings here in Silicon Valley.

If you’ve stumbled upon my page, you’re likely interested in changing your life. I am here to be on that journey with you.

As a therapist, I strive to create a welcoming, warm, and safe space for you to be yourself and explore your authenticity. My ultimate goal is to be open, compassionate, and curious, with a balance of humanity and therapeutic direction to introduce new skills to improve your day-to-day life. I partner with my clients to help them understand their life stressors and process and manage these challenges. By hearing their stories, I can provide an objective clinical perspective. We work closely together to align on short—and long-term therapeutic goals.

Many of my clients identify as high-performing perfectionists, disconnected from who they want to be, and on a dedicated journey to improve their well-being.

Common topics include

Exploring and managing triggers, improving the utilization of effective coping strategies, better understanding oneself and one's lived experience, building healthy relationships, self-kindness, and compassion can all enhance one's quality of life.

Areas of Treatment

Anxiety, depression, social anxiety, acute stress and trauma, family-of-origin stressors, and interpersonal challenges. I specialize in working with Asian Americans, diligent and hard-working professionals, and women going through life transitions, such as pregnancy and postpartum.

Just because no one else can heal or do your inner work for you

Doesn't mean you can, should, or need to do it alone

— Lisa Olivera

Outside of therapy, I am passionate about making mental health careers and pathways accessible and achievable. That’s why I created a professional consultation service to support mental health clinicians in reaching their goals.

  • As a first-generation Asian American graduate,  I understand the stressors of holding the weight of the pressures to “succeed” but also to “make my family proud”. There are spoken and unspoken societal stressors, including the model minority myth for Asian Americans, or simply being the first in your family to have new, privileged opportunities. These opportunities are taken lightly. I serve as an anchor and guide for individuals in the mental health field as you navigate training programs and clinical hours, prepare for your clinical exams, and even build your private practice. The service is developed to help you feel empowered as a professional in the field. This service will not review clinical cases and focuses solely on the individual’s confidence in navigating their career goals.

My colleagues and clients remind me I am thorough, organized, and dedicated. This has helped me take the appropriate steps to achieve my experiences and roles as a first-generation student and professional. My passion and excitement show when I can support learning, collaborate with individuals on a mission to better communities through a small start-up, or within my path as a mental health clinician.

We all start from somewhere. Let’s start with a dedicated space for you to feel better and lead a more fulfilling life.
